This is a journey into the life of Jo. First of all, Jo is not Jo's real name. In fact, Jo does not even know why she is called Jo because her real name sounds nothing remotely like the J-o combination.

On that note, Jo does not always refer to herself in the third person.

Elan Ma is my real name, and though Asian I be, Japanese I am not. Of course, I occassionally confuse people about my nationality when they look at my hair and...clothes? Yes. Because I wear clothes, all the time, except when I bathe.

And when I was born, but I wasn't bathing then; hmm...uncanny.

Currently, I reside in the magical, mythical land of CANADIA in the city T of O. Between attempting to raise acceptable marks for acceptance into my university of choice and slaving away at the Dominating Supermarket of Doom, I find time for my Jrock.

In other words, when I'm supposed to be doing work, I listen to music and research about my favourite bands.

(Kids, telling you now, this is not how you raise good marks for your money-eating university of much unpleasant things, but this is how you keep yourself happy.)

My Jrock history all started in seventh grade, when I randomly bought a CD and instantly fell in love with it. Which is why I sometimes think that finding the world of Japanese Music was fate, but that's another story that involves tissues, television and floating balloons. Anywho, Luna Sea was the first band that made my jaw drop, and after that GLAY (who's One Love CD I bought on a whim, for no good reason except I had $30 burning a hole in my pocket), and after that, L'Arc~en~Ciel. The list goes on and it just goes to show that taking a couple of risks in life might do you some good.

Currently, I am in love with most (if not all) things that have to do with Mori Kiyoharu, as well as stuff by Takui, The Flare, FAKE?, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Shiina Ringo, and The Brilliant Green. Dabbling in stuff by Orange Range, Road of Major, and Nightmare.

As a last note, you should all know that men in leather pants are sexy.
