L'Arc~en~Ciel: Anemone
01.03.29
Artist: L'Arc~en~CielTitle: Anemone Words: Hyde Music: Hyde Surrounded by the kindness of the dear people, I take off towards you. With those shining memories engraved in my heart, the wind pushes me to the road which continues to the port. I think of that dear person my feelings will last through the winter. The glorious season Ahh The boat leaves for a destination unknown without waiting for the flowers to bloom. No one will put out the quietly burning flame. The little ship crossing the seas, seeks a far away land with all its hope. Ah my wish is but one, to enturst my eternal vow to those hands. Now the sounding of the bell tells me its that time. Aa Anemone Ah my Anemone. I'm taking off to you towards the time when that hill blooms red I'm taking off toward you Ah toward you. Translated By: Brian Stewart & Takako Sakuma Translator's Notes: Anemone certainly sounds like a farewell song. If I didn't think Larc was dedicated to their music I would think this would be the song to end their careers. (Message from the future: It Didn't) Ok don't get scared, I'm fairly sure they have a few more years left in 'em. So who is the "you" in this song ? Is it god ? or is it the dear one he thinks of... ? Is it the Anemone ? We think "this feeling outlasted the winter" means, that even though hyde has come to his end, somehow the feelings he had for ths person have outlived him. There's a lot of ways to interpret this. We wish we could tell. If we get anymore clues we'll let y'all know. The Aenomne is a flower, in bloom it is a red and purple color. Ithas been symbolic of death in certain cultures, but it is not so uncommon a flower and looks quite beautiful in the spring. Romaji To Be Added Romaji By: Brian Stewart |
