Artist: Amuro Namie
Title: Better Days
Words: Gary White with Japanese translation by Kudo Junko
Music: Dallas Austin

Blown on by a wind from you
I quivered like a flower blooming in the spring.
smiles, tears, I dedicated everything to you.

"i'll always be by your side"
though you were always so kind...
though I never meant to trouble you that much.

I will go anywhere, i'll cross over it all
the moon, the constellations, the deserts and the seas.
I'll take back those wonderful days I spent with you
holding them in my hands.
Even if time takes it all away, I can't make shining memories
yesterday, tomorrow, eternal love.

I always believed that you'd be coming back to me,
cause you were just like a soul to me.

light my path and guide me
the moon the constellations, the deserts and the seas.
we'll meet each other as if for the first time
and from now on we'll have better days.

I will go anywhere, i'll cross over it all
the moon, the constellations, the deserts and the seas.
I'll take back those wonderful days I sepnt with you
holding them in my hands.
Even if time takes it all away, I can't make shining memories
yesterday, tomorrow, eternal love.

Better Days (Just to bring back better days
Better Days Better Days(I'll go whereever you are)
Moon and Stars
I'm looking for a tomorrow where we're smiling.
I'll go wherever you are
Follow the moon and the stars, cross over the deserts and seas
To bring you back here with me,
I'll chnage the world if I could,
Bring back the love we mistook,
I'll do whatever it takes just to bring back better days.

Translated By: Brian Stewart & Takako Sakuma

Translator's Notes: This one is interesting because its a translation of an english language version fo the song, which I have to assume is the part at the end. I really like the Japanese way of expressing better days. which we translated, by the way, as better days and not "days more wonderful than now". I think someone should now translate our translation back into Japanese and then back to English again. Doesn't the first line of this song sound silly...in English?
