Yowza! *1 - The word "turtle's head" in Japanese is slang for penis in this case. *2 - Enma or Yama (in sanskrit) is the Far Eastern equivalent of Osiris. Yama is a devil that passes judgement on the departed, deciding whether they go to heaven or hell. *3 - I used the grammatically incorrect "seriouser" on purpose to try and capture the word play and rhythym of the lyrics. Naruto is a place in Japan famous for its whirlpools. With these lyrics we can onyl interpret that the singer is suggesting that just as things get serious, he starts doodling those whirlpools on the faces of demons or some such in his jigokue or "Visions of Hell" book. *4 - This is a gag based on an old expression: "tabi ha michizure, yo ha nasake" which means roughly, "different measures for different problems" and literally, "companions can help each other on the journey, but to make it in the world you need two people who sympathize with one another" The Back Horn have changes "Nasake" to "Abazure" which means whore or bitch. *5 - "Sai no Kawara" is the hell which children who die before their parents go to in which they are forced to pile up stones in a play tower. Before they can complete the towers, a devil comes and knocks it over, forcing them to start over. The lesson learned: DON'T DIE YOUNG. "Sai no Kawara" is a place along the riverside of the Sanzu River. *6 - First off, there's a horrifying pun in there "Jigoku no SATA DE NAITO FI-BA-" which works out to "Saturday Night Fever" when sung, oy vay!
