Translated By: Brian Stewart & Takako Sakuma (Special Thanks to Cocco's English collaborator's who were referenced) Translator's Notes: Things we changed from the English provided and our version were as follows: * 1 - In Japan "aoi" (blue) has the connotation of youth, inexperience, or innocence. In this case our interpretation of the line is that the youthful body supple breats, nice figure etc. of Cocco's youth used to catch the boy she married, dated, etc, have gotten rusty, or old and flabby. * 2 - "There's nothing beyond this." We read that this song is about the fear of death, and "there's nothing beyond this" could be interpreted as "after you've lived your life, after you've lost your youth there's nothing to look forward to. We don't think the English is correct in the official translation. * 3 - The first chorus is just wrong as originally translated. The first few lines should be as we wrote it. We changed "out of breath" to breath comes in spurts... becuase the feeling is that Cocco's breath is starting to slow, because she's dying. Her wings go away and leave her with no where to go but into the ground. * 4 - Changed the second chorus too. The feeling is that soon Cocco will be gone, and her wings will burn away, and she'll go back to the sky. Also changed the last line to "Now where do I go?" To properly show the feeling of the song as a whole. The idea, we found, is that if your body goes to the ground, and your spirit doesn't go to heaven, where are you then ? Where can you go ?
