Seriously. *s! * 1 - I could not find the final word on what this line means but I found a few interesting facts. First, a common Japanese breed of rabbit has red eyes. Second, These rabbits with red eyes were considered the servants of God. Third, they are often associated with sickness. Here, I have a feeling it's some sort of comment Hitoto is quoting about bride's as servants. The bride being dressed all in white and wearing a hood with what you could interpret as long ears. * 2 - Here I see the same analogy. Long ears, pure white.
