Kagrra: Omou

04.11.16
Artist: Kagrra
Title: Omou (Mourning)
Words: Isshi
Music: Kagrra

the transcient wishes that blow away *1
my heart wasting away in grief
the track I wander
dilligently draws the scars
of a past stuck in the mire

the drop drips in the darkness
even the memory of today, will return to the moon
so far away the wind can't reach, to thin and fade away

I admired cheerful people
tied down by the binding spell called a dream
I ran after with my all but
exhausted, I want to nod off to sleep
held by the chaotic darkness

even the memory of today, will return to the moon
so far away the wind can't reach, to thin and fade away
the transcient wishes that blow away

forget the pain and sadness
lose the color and time
even the memory of today, will return to the moon
so far away the wind can't reach it, to thin and fade away
the transcience of it, echoes.
Translated By: Brian Stewart & Takako Sakuma

Translator's Notes: Kagrra play with the word Omou in this song using different kanji to express it differently. To what extent this changes the meaning I'm not sure.

* 1 - I want to clarify that this character usually means "a thought accompanied by a prayer" or as I translated it "a wish". It's sort of an expression of will.
