Title: Suisha (Water Reflection)
Words: Ooki Nobuo

the golden pattern born in the image
was it a mirage of long ago that we touched?

opposing outlines of shapes, savage, wavering

I felt that the one sound that tied together the skies
was still echoing somewhere in the distance.

the small star reflected on the water
like a floating vividly colored light
the tiny wind is a nostalgic song
a flash of a moment, I piece together, and touched

a flower of colloid white in the city lights
the night closed and fell away,
why is that?

I remember this flattening world
several connected, lived.

right now, the world just stopped without a sound
and tells those who shall inherit the sky

so that I don't forget the tiny wind
so that I don't forget the days gone in a flash
the small star relfected on the water
like a floating vividly colored light
I touched it.

Translator's Notes: Oddly Biological. I can't even begin to explain colloid. Go look it up.
