04.07.01
Artist: Glay Title: Survival Words: Takuro Music: Takuro In a loud voice, "this era is survival" goes the commentator, making ominous prophecies, rattling on about darkness. In the mirror there is a face which blame's everything on yesterday's mishaps. Those of us who go here, there and everywhere, all day long in a panicky run. tired of swimming in the waves of society, even if you let slip a little sarcasm with what little vitality you've left you're running around the Heisei world. At the end of the wide sky the light points. on the last day of Earth, if the hoop that bound my desires is broken we can become Adam and Eve. It's what I need to tough it out in this world just a little despair too and you can taste the finest quality spice oh yes ! supposing now, you doubted all your own dreams would you say, i guess it was right to throw them away ? An uneasy night, breathing in your sea deeper than anything. For the sake of that new life, you lived to wish for the future the stolen summer, keeping my love lit up. Are you hitting stride on a new born evening ? activating your metabolism. a drama that's just started the thing you should hold next to you the words you tell the future of a you who's worth something no one can take that away those that worry too much are buried in tedium. chorus Translated By: Brian Stewart & Takako Sakuma Translator's Notes: Part of the key to enjoying this song is the usage of rhyming it cleverly sneaks in there. While the words often get very confusing, this rythm becomes very important. The line which begins, "Are you hitting stride at a new born eve ?" and "activating metabolism" in the original japanese, rhyme with each other at both the beginning and the end. Who knows what they are saying but it sounds good. This needs a rewrite too. More to come. Romaji To Be Added Romaji By: Brian Stewart |
